About Me
I am a technology investor. I'm a partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), where I invest in companies that support American Dynamism.
At a16z, I focus on early-stage investments in frontier technologies and critical industries. I also help run our Engineering Fellows program to support engineers and researchers building in these fields.
Before becoming an investor, I worked on startups.
-
I previously helped build Mos, an education company, as an early employee and later chief of staff through the company's Series B.
-
Before that, I worked on consumer credit-building products, focusing on operations strategy for teams across the US and Latin America. I have also spent time at Susa Ventures, as a venture fellow, and at Andela, building software developer ecosystems across Africa.
-
I studied public and international affairs as an undergraduate at Princeton, and conducted research on rural broadband policy, investor-state disputes, and energy infrastructure.
I'm broadly interested in frontier technologies, markets, and culture. Outside of investing, I enjoy endurance sports, painting, and pursuing a lifelong quest to explore every corner of the world. After years in San Francisco, I'm now based in New York City.
Exploring: robotics, autonomy, industrials, mixed reality, new devices, energy, mining, synthetic biology, archaeology, new cities, prediction markets, and mechanism design.
